Torontonian by birth and Montrealer by choice, David Ryshpan has made his mark over the past fifteen years as a pianist, keyboardist, composer, and DJ. He has toured the world with Haitian rapper Vox Sambou and samba-rock legend Jorge Ben Jor, and contributed to saxophonist Joel Miller's Juno-nominated album, "Unstoppable." In addition to leading the Brazilian instrumental group Trio Bruxo and the song cycle Alicuanta, David is a sought-after sideman in jazz, Latin, Brazilian, and hip-hop communities. He joined Oktoecho in 2020, where he adds his distinctive flavor.
