The filmmaker Alain Saint-Hilaire and the composer Katia Makdissi-Warrren combine images and music to reconstruct the founding moments of the Gulf countries, from the Bedouin princes of the 1960s to the emirs who built the legendary Dubai today.
A tale that unveils the story of the home of the pearl fishermen, of these forgotten lands where ancestral memory and flashy Futurism shimmer. Pearl Fishers is inspired by khaliji rhythms and melodies (from the Gulf) ... Montrealers in the land of a thousand and one well ... to trace the history of a culture in transformation!
