Under the artistic direction of composer Katia Makdissi-Warren, Okotécho explores mixed music and musical sounds through its own compositions.

After debuting her career in finance, Marie José (MJ) founded Tocade, a Canadian-based wine & spirit importing agency covering North American markets. She positioned the agency to build a unique portfolio of quality and undiscovered producers across the globe and bring them to North American consumers. Over the decade under her leadership, Tocade grew to become a leader in its field and ranked among the top importers in Quebec and a key partner to major US retailers.
By end of 2017, MJ sold Tocade and giving back to society was important to her. Thus, she became involved in multiple organizations and incubators including helping and mentoring entrepreneurs from all sectors and for different segments.
She also joined Anges Quebec, the province’s angel investing network for entrepreneurs and start-ups. She invests personal capital in companies all while leading them through due diligence to Serie A funding. She gave of her time to Mentor & coach entrepreneurs on their business and financial needs, as well as acted as a consultant for companies that needed her expertise. Today, she manages a soft commodity trading unit and remains involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
